This price guide below will give you a close idea what you might expect to pay when you stay at WAGTAILS. Prices can vary around bank holidays so Email us
for a definitive price. Prices will usually be as stated below.
1. WINTER LOW SEASON
(November, December, January, February)

Prices exclude public holidays, Xmas, N Year, Easter, and
Half Terms and will vary upwards on these dates e.g. Xmas week and Half terms would be £450.
2. EARLY SPRING

SHORT BREAK RATES
We only accept weekly [7 night] bookings from the start of March to the end of October – after which we again adopt the winter format of accepting short breaks again (though we can obviously still take 7 night weekly bookings in winter if you wish to stay a full week). There are also certain premium dates (e.g. half terms, public holidays) during the off peak period where we may only accept weekly bookings (e.g. Easter, Xmas, New Year, Oct / Feb Half Term, etc). Ring to check.
Short breaks price-guide - WAGTAILS
Short breaks in winter can commence on any day of the week and we operate a price structure broadly as set out in the table below, to make it easier for you to approximately self-calculate your likely price before ringing. This assumes you are not booking leading up, on or just after Bank/ public holidays.

OTHER INFO
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE FORMAT is SATURDAY TO SATURDAY (March to October)
Please note that throughout the peak season we operate a Sat-Sat basis for 7 night weekly bookings (exceptions only by agreement). Outside of peak period, we will vary arrival and departure days for 7 night stays, and take any other combination of shorter stays.
ARRIVAL TIME - After 4.00 PM on Saturday afternoon
We kindly ask guests to plan to arrive anytime after 4.00pm on arrivals day. Guests are at liberty to arrive at any time after 4pm and we leave the key at an agreed location so that you can arrive at your own leisure.
DEPARTURE TIME - By 10.30am on Saturday morning
We kindly ask guests if they could co-operate by departing by 10.30am on your departure day. This gives us enough time to prepare the cottage properly for our next guests so that it will be as nice for them as it was for you when you arrived.
PAYMENT TERMS
- We usually prefer to accept cheque payment, or where late bookings we can accept cash on arrival, by agreement.
- We kindly ask for a small cheque deposit of 30% within 7 days of booking.
- We ask that the full balance be settled (by cheque or online) no later than two calendar months prior to your arrival date
- Where you book close to this two month period, we will ask for the full balance.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- cancellations made more than two months before arrival date will receive a full no quibbles refund. - If you cancel within two months of your visit we will keep the full balance unless we take another booking. We will always be fair and understanding to guests with genuine unforseeable reasons to need to cancel. - If you do cancel within two months of arrival date but we manage to take a replacement booking following your cancellation we will make a full refund to you (minus any price loss we may have incurred in taking any late replacement booking). - We recommend visitors consider taking out travel insurance which covers you for losses in any such cancellation event (obviously your travel insurance must UK based holidays).
