SUMMER FORMAT – SATURDAY TO SATURDAY
Please note that throughout the peak season we operate a Sat-Sat basis for 7 night weekly bookings (exceptions only by agreement). Outside of peak period, we will vary arrival and departure days for 7 night stays, and take any other combination of shorter stays. We ask that guests arrive after 3.00pm on arrivals day and at end of stay kindly depart by 12pm noon on departure day.
WINTER SHORT BREAKS (AND WEEKENDS) - PRICES BELOW
[AVAILABLE Oct-May]
We generally prefer to accept weekly [7 night] bookings from the start of June to the end of September – after which we again adopt the winter format of accepting short breaks again (though we can obviously still take 7 night weekly bookings in winter if you wish to stay a full week). There are also certain premium dates (e.g. half terms, public holidays) during the off peak period October to April where we may only accept weekly bookings (e.g. Easter, Xmas, New Year, Oct / Feb Half Term, etc). Ring to check.
ARRIVAL TIME - 3.00 PM
We kindly ask guests to plan to arrive after 3.00pm on arrivals day. If you are setting out early and would find this to be a real problem, please let us know in advance and we will try to fit in with you, since the last thing you will want after a long drive is to have to hang around somewhere in the car. If you really do need to arrive before 3.00pm, ring us and sometimes we can facilitate this and you can always drop bags off, use loo etc before this time.
Alternatively The Britannia Inns (Llanmadoc), The King Arthur Hotel (Reynoldston), Kings Head (Llangennith), The Greyhound (Oldwalls, Llanrhidian), North Gower Hotel or Dolphin (both Llanrhidian Village) – are all pubs serving teas/coffees close by and all do decent lunch / refreshments. You could also visit the Compass Cafe/Ice Cream Parlour which is only 10 mins. drive away on the South Gower road just at the bottom of ReynoldstonVillage. You can usually get a coffee or buy Joe's Ice Cream at "Our Shop" in Llanmadoc, in the lane to the left of Gower Cottage and Wagtails when seen from the road.
DEPARTURE TIME - 12.00 noon
We kindly ask guests if they could co-operate by departing by 12pm noon on your departure day. This gives us enough time to prepare the cottage properly for our next guests so that it will be as nice for them as it was for you when you arrived.
PAYMENT TERMS
- We usually prefer to accept cheque payment, or where late bookings we can accept cash on arrival, by agreement.
- We kindly ask for a small cheque deposit within 7 days of booking.
