Notes:
1. We regret that we are unable to accept short breaks (less than one week) during months of March to October inclusive. You can however take a short break between November to February inclusive. 2. During our "Weekly bookings only" period, i.e. between March to October guests may by all means, within a single booked week, stay for a shorter period which suits them (e.g. arrive slightly later or depart slightly earlier within the booked week's stay to suit their needs).
3. Unfortunately due to work and help arrangements, we are unable to vary the Saturday changeover. 4. Certain weeks in the winter season will also be restricted to full week bookings e.g. Xmas and New Year, & February Half Term.

Short breaks in winter operate a price structure as set out in the table below, to make it easier for you to self-calculate your likely price before ringing. This assumes you are not booking leading up, on or just after Bank/ public holidays.

OTHER INFO
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE FORMAT is SATURDAY TO SATURDAY (March to October)
Please note that throughout the peak season we operate a Sat-Sat basis for 7 night weekly bookings (exceptions only by agreement). Outside of peak period,
we will vary arrival and departure days for 7 night stays, and take any other combination of shorter stays.
ARRIVAL TIME - After 4.00 PM on Saturday afternoon
We kindly ask guests to plan to arrive anytime after 4.00pm on arrivals day. Guests are at liberty to arrive at any time after 4pm and we leave the key at an agreed location so that you can arrive at your own leisure.
DEPARTURE TIME - By 10.30am on Saturday morning
We kindly ask guests if they could co-operate by departing by 10.30am on your departure day. This gives us enough time to prepare the cottage properly for our next guests so that it will be as nice for them as it was for you when you arrived.
PAYMENT TERMS
1. We prefer to accept cheque payment, or online banking payments, but for very last minute bookings we may accept cash on arrival, by agreement.
2. We kindly ask for a deposit of 30% within 7 days of booking.
3. We require that the full balance be settled no later than two calendar months prior to your arrival date.
4. Where you book close to this two month period, we will ask for the full balance within 7 days of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY
GENERAL POLICY
For stays commencing or ending during the calendar months of March and October inclusive......
1. Cancellations made more than two months before arrival date will receive a full no quibbles refund of 100% of whatever has been paid.
2. If you do cancel within two months of arrival date but we manage to take a replacement booking following your cancellation we will make a full refund of your deposit to you.
3. We recommend visitors consider taking out travel insurance which covers you for losses in any such cancellation event (obviously you need to ensure that your travel insurance must cover UK based holidays).
SNOW AND ICE RISK TO YOUR BOOKING DURING WINTER MONTHS - CAN WE HELP YOU ??
In addition, but only for stays commencing or ending during the winter calendar months of November through to February inclusive......
As well as the year round normal 100% no quibbles refund policy (where cancellations are made more than two months from arrival date), in addition, during the months of November through to February, we offer a refund of 85% of the total booking fee, if for any reason you need to cancel, even where you cancel within two months of arrival, and even with less than 24 hrs notice if necessary. This policy is designed to remove the risk for winter bookings, and help guests make bookings even during inclement weather periods.
This is a far more generous policy than most cottages and is made with goodwill, in the hope that guests will be fair to us also, and will return again and again over the years.
